Installée en Suède et résolument tournée vers la danse contemporaine, la GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, placée sous la direction artistique de Katrín Hall, est l’une des compagnies les plus prestigieuses en Europe. Son répertoire se compose de compositions audacieuses qui ont bien souvent été créées exclusivement pour elle. Séduite par l’excellence des danseurs, Crystal Pite a proposé Solo Echo, une pièce à l’esthétique éblouissante portée par la musique de Johannes Brahms. Sous un ciel de neige, sept danseurs font naître un tourbillon d’émotions. De son côté, le français Yoann Bourgeois révèle une création à mi-chemin entre travail acrobatique et chorégraphie. We Loved Each Other So Much, sa deuxième collaboration avec la compagnie suédoise.
